Which Housing Strategies Are Most Important to You?
The City released the draft Housing Action Plan (HAP) in May 2026 – now we want you to help Bothell prioritize housing strategies. Community members, Planning Commission, and City Council together identified six key housing goals. The HAP includes strategies to implement each goal, acting as a roadmap to greater housing variety, availability, and affordability in Bothell.

What We Heard
During the initial engagement phase in late 2025, we collected community feedback through community events, online “Housing Action Plan Story Board” forum, and focus groups led by planning staff.
Top community priorities from this engagement included:
- Increased housing options
- Strategies to reduce costs
- Improved connectivity in neighborhoods
- Improved support for the rental market
Your feedback directly informed the plan.
