Micromobility Survey

The City of Bothell is working to reduce the need for vehicle trips and alleviate traffic congestion by providing more transportation options. We envision a safer, greener, and more vibrant place to live, work, and play.
With your feedback from the Micromobility Survey earlier this year, we developed micromobility strategies to provide general guidance for the planning, development, and use of micromobility. Examples of micromobility devices include bikes, e-bikes, e-scooters, electric unicycles (uniwheels), electric skateboards (one-wheels), and skateboards.
The goals of the Micromobility Strategy are to: 1) Provide guidance to make micromobility a viable transportation alternative to driving a car, and 2) Develop guidelines and rules to encourage safe and efficient use and operation of micromobility options.
The Micromobility Strategy is now available for public review and will be shared with City Council at the September 16, 2025 meeting.
