2024 Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)
The City of Bothell has prepared a Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) as part of the Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update.
An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is a detailed document that assesses how the 2024 Comprehensive Plan might affect our environment, community, and quality of life.
This EIS evaluates the potential impacts of three alternative growth strategies on a range of factors, including earth, water resources, plants and animals, land use, environmental justice, plans and policies, population, housing, aesthetics, cultural and historic resources, transportation, public services, and utilities.
A key focus of the analysis is identifying opportunities to promote equity and enhance climate resilience.
On December 10, 2024, the Bothell City Council approved the final adoption of the Imagine Bothell Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update and associated development regulations.
